Jakarta Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama believes Semanggi elevated road would decrease congestion at the area up to 50 percent. It is because vehicles will not joggle.

“Congestion around Semanggi could decrease up to 50 percent,” he said, Friday (4/8).

According to him, traffic flow should runs normally if the lane is not decreased.

“Minimally, vehicles from airport will not get stuck in Grogol,” he added.

Basuki continued that vehicles from Jalan Gatot Subroto will not meet vehicles on Jalan Sudirman. There are two elevated roads to be built, from Grogol to Blok M direction by 796 meters and Polda to National Monument direction by 826 meters.
